The Romford-Educated Islamic Killer Of Soldier Lee Rigby Seeks £20,000 Compensation !

Remembering Lee Rigby (Manchester Evening News photo)
The Romford Recorder reports (27/1/17, p. 3):

"Lee Rigby Killer Seeks £20K In Court

The Muslim extremist who murdered Fusilier Lee Rigby near his barracks in Woolwich in May 2013 is seeking £20,000 compensation for losing two teeth.

Michael Adebolajo, 32, formerly of Romford, has found a solicitor to take his claim for compensation to court. Adebolajo is seeking £20,000 after losing two front teeth in a scuffle with prison guards."

Killer Michael Adebolajo went to Marshalls Park school in Romford - the same school attended by Romford MP Andrew Rosindell.  Iraq war hero Kirk Redpath, who was killed in Iraq in 2007, also attended Marshalls Park School and is reported to have been friendly with Michael Adebolajo during their school years.

While Romford-educated Islamic extremists are phoning their solicitors for compensation advice the victims of the Havering College of Further Education corruption scandal cannot even get a proper investigation by our well-paid Havering Borough Police Service.  They don't mind taking our tax to pay for their wages, expenses and ongoing professional qualifications but you try and get simple justice and they don't want to know !!

Tory Health Secretary JEREMY HUNT Pockets £15 MILLION While NHS is in CRISIS !

Tory Jeremy Hunt pockets £15 million while NHS in "Crisis"
Conservative Party health secretary Jeremy Hunt has pocketed a further £15 million from his business Hotcourses while thousands of NHS staff are SCREAMING for help in the NHS crisis.

Twenty NHS hospitals declared a BLACK ALERT at the start of 2017 as "patient safety can no longer be assured".

"Struggling hospitals have been forced to take highly unusual steps in order to manage a surge in demand for care. They include cancelling cancer operations, treating adults in children’s wards and even closing a birthing centre to help cope with a sudden influx of patients who need to be admitted for treatment." (guardian)

Rosindell gives Romford hospital a picture of the Queen (Romford Recorder)
Here in Havering our local Queen's hospital has been put into "special measures" (since 2013) following a highly critical report by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).  The Romford Recorder reports:

"Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) must act on a set of “urgent” instructions after the Care Quality Commission (CQC) found recent improvements were not doing enough to tackle problems putting patients at risk.

Special measures are imposed by the NHS when trust managers are not considered capable of resolving systematic failings."

Tory BREXIT Reality - "NO DEAL" is a good deal !

Margaret Thatcher didn't want BREXIT (BBC photo)
IF BREXIT is good WHY didn't MARGARET THATCHER want it THIRTY YEARS AGO ?

Why didn't Margaret Thatcher push hard for BREXIT in the 1980s and SAVE the UK trillions and trillions of OUR MONEY !

Why does our pro-BREXIT Romford MP think so much of Margaret Thatcher ?

Trillions wasted
Conservative Party Prime Minister Theresa May is an enthusiastic supporter of Margaret Thatcher and her decision-making. Like our Romford MP Andrew Rosindell, Theresa May regards Thatcherism as a milestone in British history - SO WHY didn't Margaret Thatcher push for BREXIT THIRTY YEARS AGO saving ordinary people TRILLIONS OF POUNDS which could have spent elsewhere.

Yesterday Theresa May, desperately trying to end thirty years of Conservative Party in-fighting on Europe,  made a speech that acknowledged the reality of TORY BREXIT and the real economic difficulties it will bring for the ordinary man and woman.  May acknowedged the difficulties ahead - she hinted that "NO DEAL" with Europe would be a good deal ! All the election / referendum talk of single markets and free trade disappeared in a few seconds !

Our MP Andrew Rosindell never seems to call the judgement of Margaret Thatcher into question and has heaped endless praise on her along with many other Conservative Party supporters, However the judgement of Margaret Thatcher is worth looking at more closely:

Speaking on BBC On The Record on 07.10.01, Andrew Rosindell MP said:

Margaret Thatcher won three election victories with very large majorities,
it's only when we appeared to lose our direction, it's only when we seemed
to become very unsure of ourselves, and rather wishy-washy that we began
to lose again. I think that we should stand by what we believe in, be
true to ourselves.

Thatcher got Sex Offender Jimmy Saville a Knighthood ! (Times)
The Daily Mail reports that Margaret Thatcher tried FIVE TIMES to get a knighthood for serial sexual offender Jimmy Saville.

There were also allegations of a hushed-up Cash for Honours scandal during Thatcher's premiership but you will find little published on it. In 1985 Margaret Thatcher made Jeffrey Archer the Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.

Archer was later imprisoned for perjury, from BBC report (see link below):  Before sentencing him the judge Mr Justice Potts told Lord Archer: "These charges represent as serious an offence of perjury as I have had experience of and have been able to find in the books." The jury found him guilty of lying and cheating in his 1987 libel case against the Daily Star. The verdicts were unanimous on each count.
Thatcher appointed Archer as Deputy Chairman

The BREXIT hatred of Eastern Europeans And The Quiet Welcoming of French Jews

Rosindell on Going Underground, Russia Today (RT)
Here in Romford we have an MP, Andrew Rosindell, who is noted for his pro-monarchy views and his anti-EU campaigning in the build-up to BREXIT.  Mr Rosindell played his BREXIT part with  Bill Cash MP and the European Foundation (EF) where Rosindell was listed as International Director of the EF.  We can't find any press statement from Andrew Rosindell MP or his supporters, here in Romford, appealing for the high-levels of hatred directed at Eastern Europeans during the BREXIT campaign and afterwards to calm down. The Metropolitan Police expressed concern at the sharp rise of hate crimes before and after the BREXIT referendum.

Hate Crime statistics (politico)
The Guardian reports "Data from 31 police forces showed that in the two weeks up to and including the day of the referendum on 23 June, forces recorded 1,546 racially or religiously aggravated offences. In the fortnight immediately after the poll, the number climbed to 2,241. There was an increase in racially and religiously aggravated offences recorded in June, followed by an even sharper rise in July 2016."

In contrast to the public hatred directed at innocent Eastern Europeans during the BREXIT campaign,  French Jews were quietly welcomed to the UK by the royalist Conservative Party that Andrew Rosindell MP represents here in Romford - which UK political party will these French Jews vote for do you think  ?  Of further concern is the fact that no mention was made of the tens of millions of asian, black and irish immigrants allowed into the UK by Andrew Rosindell's Conservative Party over the past sixty years ! The emphasis was unfairly directed at Eastern Europeans - The Havering Witness would like to reassure them that not all British people hate them.

Mannaseh Ben Israel - derided by royalists for his association with Cromwell
The recent admision of French Jews into England seems to be very politically different to the Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese Jews who came to England in the days of Oliver Cromwell.  The BBC Religion site says the following about Cromwell  "At that time, the Spanish and Portuguese Jewish community had been expelled from Spain. Many exiled Jews headed to Amsterdam, helping to turn it into one of the world's busiest ports. Cromwell saw that the return of the Jews would bring great financial benefits to England.  In 1656 Cromwell made a verbal promise, backed by the Council of State, to allow Jews to return to Britain and practise their faith freely. As a result, Jews from Holland, Spain and Portugal came to Britain. They became more and more integrated into British society."

French Rabbi appointed (Evening Standard)

TODAY much less fuss is being made about the admission of French Jews into England during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II - the longest-serving monarch in British history.

In 2014, during the build-up to the EU referendum, the Daily Mail reported ".. London, too, in recent years has seen an influx of Jewish families from France. At the St John’s Wood synagogue in North London they have had to set up a separate French minyan, or congregational group".

In 2016 The Evening Standard reports: "A synagogue in London is to start holding services in French because of the number of Jews moving here after a rise in anti-Semitism and terrorist atrocities in France. The Liberal Jewish Synagogue in St John’s Wood has appointed a French rabbi for the Gallic part of its congregation, which has grown rapidly since Islamist gunmen attacked Charlie Hebdo magazine and a kosher supermarket in Paris in January last year."

Eastern Euopean murdered during rise in hate crimes
While French Jews were being welcomed into the UK by the Conservatve Party, innocent Eastern Europeans were the target of BREXIT HATE - The Guardian reports "A survey by the Guardian found that European embassies in Britain have logged dozens of incidents of suspected hate crime and abuse against their citizens since the referendum. The vast majority of incidents involved citizens from eastern European countries, with more attacks against Poles than against all the other nationalities put together. They include the killing of Arkadiusz Jóźwik in Harlow, in an apparently unprovoked attack that is being treated by police as a possible hate crime. Five 15-year-old boys and one 16-year-old boy, all from Harlow, were arrested on suspicion of murdering Jóźwik and bailed until 7 October pending further inquiries. A second Polish man survived the attack.

Reader Challenge - Compare Andrew Rosindell MP with Former Romford MP Sir Michael Neubert

The Havering Witness would like to invite knowledgable residents of Romford to identify the key political differences between the former MP for Romford Sir Michael Neubert and our current MP for Romford Andrew Rosindell MP.

Please send your thoughts on the comparison to our local paper which sadly has a much higher readership than we do.  Thank you.

We know one difference - Sir Michael Neubert has a clear distinction from Andrew Rosindell MP in being the minister who, in April 1990,  declared Gruinard Island safe after World War II Anthrax experiments.

"Humanitarian Crisis" In The NHS - Does Andrew Rosindell MP Care ?

Daily Mail photo
The much-respected British Red Cross has described the NHS as being in a "humanitarian crisis" and has been backed in its claims by NHS professionals throughout the UK.

The Daily Mail reports on the claims of the British Red Cross : The charity's chief executive, Mike Adamson, said extra cash was needed for health and social care to make the system sustainable. 'The British Red Cross is on the front line, responding to the humanitarian crisis in our hospital and ambulance services across the country. Red Cross chief executive, Mike Adamson. 'We have been called in to support the NHS and help get people home from hospital and free up much needed beds.'

Despite repeating press reports, over several years, of patients dying in hospital corridors and the subsequent widespread public outcry, Andrew Rosindell MP doesn't appear to list the NHS as one of his interests !

The NHS isn't one of Andrew Rosindell's interests ?
The www.parliament.co.uk web-site (on 10.1.17) lists Andrew Rosindell's political interests as:

Foreign and international relations, European affairs, law and order, defence, local and regional government, animal welfare

and also lists Andrew Rosindell's "Countries Of Interest" as:

Australia, Canada, Crown Dependencies, Eastern Europe, Gibraltar, Gulf States, New Zealand, Nordic countries, UK Overseas Territories, USA, Switzerland, Liechtenstein

Andrew Rosindell MP - A Man Of Unsustainable Political Contradictions ?

Rosindell - serious contradictions ? (Romford Recorder photo)
The Havering Witness, like many voters in Romford, is increasingly concerned with the many unsustainable political contradictions that we perceive our MP,  Andrew Rosindell, is forcing upon us as our representative in Parliament.

Andrew Rosindell MP claims to be a great supporter of both the Queen and the policies of Margaret Thatcher - but as many political observers have pointed out there were and are serious conflicts between royalty and Thatcherism.

We only need to name a few of these conflicts to identify deeply unresolvable issues between Buckingham Palace and the Thatcherite Conservative Party - Rosindell expresses enthusiastic simultaneous support for both - we say this is politically unsustainable.

Here are just a few:
  • The deep anger in Scotland that the policies of Margaret Thatcher created and the later application of that anger in the breathtaking success of the SNP. We say that this deep anger will still form a strong foundation of future Scottish independence.
  • The Canada Act (1982) - weakening constitutional ties between the "UK" and Canada.
  • Th.e Australia Act (1986)  - again weakening constitutional ties.
These three facts alone, we say,  present an irresolvable chasm between royalty and Thatcherism - Rosindell's politics seem to suggest that he is able to bridge this huge gap and further that there is no contradiction between the Queen and Margaret Thatcher - is that really true ?  Is that the muddled view we woud want our MP to promote on our behalf  ?

Christians need clarification of community leader's views
BUT thats not all ! Mr Rosindell also appears regularly in our local press supporting the work of christian youth groups and schools BUT his personal life is shrouded in mystery - in this age of perpetual worry about risks to the welfare of children is allowing this privacy in our leaders the responsible thing to do ?  We think it sets a poor example for the personal life of an MP to appear be at odds with the traditional christian organisations he claims to support. We say Andrew Rosindell MP should PUBLICY CLARIFY his personal life choices to the people of Romford so we all know what he really represents.

We think that parents and youth leaders are entitled to know the personal choices of Andrew Rosindell MP BEFORE they accept him as a representative of the traditional christian heterosexual parenting that many christians  in these groups support.

When will Andrew Rosindell MP address ALL of these apparent contradictions ?

Brendan Cox (husband of murdered Jo Cox MP) Delivers Alternative Christmas Message On Channel 4

Brendan Cox's wife Jo Cox MP was murdered.
Full Transcript of Brendan Cox Christmas Message (provided by Channel 4)

Jo loved Christmas, the games, the traditions, the coming together of friends and family and above all the excitement of our kids.

This year we’ll try to remember how lucky we were to have Jo in our lives for so long - and not how unlucky we were to have her taken from us.

2016 has been an awful year for our family, and it’s been a divisive one for the wider world.
A year in which fascism, xenophobia, extremism and terrorism made us divided and felt threatened, from America, to Europe, to the Middle East and beyond.

Brave Jo Cox MP fought her attacker
And these trends could strengthen - they could gain momentum they could consolidate and they could threaten the fundamental freedoms, and democracy that our grandparents fought for.

But that isn’t how it has to be.

Just as it has become apparent that tolerance and tolerant societies are only as strong as their defenders – there is nothing inevitable about the rise of hatred.

Instead of being a turning point for the worse, 2016 could be a wake-up call that brings us back together.

A wake-up call for all those of us who thought that the values that feel so much part of our society; of tolerance, of fair play - were in some way sacrosanct and didn’t need defending.

A wake up call that this isn’t someone else’s problem.

And a wake-up call, that we all have our part to play.

In a speech a few weeks before she was killed, my wife quoted Edmund Burke who said that, “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing.”

That has never been more true that at this Christmas.

This Christmas our family will be remembering Jo in every moment, her energy, her enthusiasm, her love and her example. After all that’s happened this year, she would hope that all of us make a resolution to do something in 2017 to bring our communities back together. To reach out to somebody that might disagree with us. Now is not a moment to shout louder into our echo chambers. It’s a moment to reach out. If 2016 was a wakeup call, I hope 2017 might be the year in which we realise that we’ve got more in common than that which divides us.

Thank you for listening and happy Christmas.
